My life is made of moments, not just things to do. As the business side of life fires up, I rise to the challenge of what is this all for? Every day, I choose this. Every day, I create my life. Here, I tell the story, one day at a time, to remind myself and to share with you, what’s it’s really like in practice.

Across the following entries, I launch my moon planner Lunar Logbook, dedicate time to art when I felt at my busiest, and log off to London. I also share, for the first time, a page from my own Lunar Logbook weekly spread, for members 🤫.

The Kickstarter is live. If you would like to pledge to support the project and be among the first to own a Lunar Logbook, here is the link. The early bird price per book (£33) increases on Monday 21 October. Please send anyone who may be interested my way :)

This blog post contains light spoilers for Sabrina Carpenter’s “Short N’ Sweet Show” tour.

SUNDAY 29-09-24 🌘

Barely hanging on, and with this comes discernment. Welcome to Day 1 of my bleed, which I predicted to the minute, practically, and it feels so satisfying to claim this with precision. This, plus last week’s confirmation that yes, something was not right in my body and the data backs me up) creates an empowered moment of body awareness, despite the pain. On Friday I finished making the Kickstarter page, on Saturday we fled to the hills, and on Sunday, here, I bleed and I rest, and suddenly I know what needs done and what can wait.

MONDAY 30-09-24 🌘

that’s my lunar logbook!

Right here, right now. When I find myself slipping into thoughts of the future, I return to the miracle of the present moment, where all I want is to tell the story in a bright pink pen. This month has been a series of impossible things, one by one, overcome. It not only proves time and again I am capable. It is bigger than that, the world I build. Every obstacle breached is cosmic confidence that I’m where I need to be — In the business of magic making, I take this lightly and seriously. Tired on Cycle Day 2, I have no choice no energy for anything but what is before me.

TUESDAY 01-10-24 🌘

I was not working late but I am a singer. I put work away at the end of the day, and sunk into how I really wanted to spend the evening: watching a blurry video compilation of Sabrina Carpenter’s opening night of tour. Held by her own music, she has a Divine Feminine capability to assert old school elegance, call out dumb boys, and melt into softness. Her “Short N’ Sweet Show” evokes nostalgia for an age already vintage in my childhood. Its structure, satisfyingly, the ‘daily routine’: her morning bath, rolling through the day into Sabrina After Dark, concluding with the following morning’s caffeine fix, pulling the snoozy dancers out of the all-nighter we just witnessed for… guess which song 🤷🏻‍♀️. The cheeky and cheesy retro style is a refreshing embrace of the theatrical in a world caught up in a certain aesthetic of ‘authentic’. With Sabrina, there is more depth and self-awareness than her “nonsense” than it seems at the surface. She can be stupid but clever, and there is value in the sigh of ease she offers: “I guess so.”

ok the next one gets extra witchy, so it’s best to close the gate and save the magic key for members only. to all others — until next time, thank you and adieu! 🗝️
